This beginner-friendly program is designed to make trail running fun, safe, and accessible. Whether you want to explore new trails, boost your fitness, or connect with fellow runners, this is your perfect starting point.

Workshop Details:

  • Choose Your Session:

    • Saturdays: October 19th & 26th; OR

    • Sundays: October 13th & 27th

  • Location: Bullocky’s Rest, Cashmere & Bunyaville Conservation Park

  • Time: 6 AM start

  • Duration: 2 hours per session

  • Cost: An introductory price of $64.84pp

  • Group Size: Limited to 15 participants for a personalized experience.

What You’ll Learn:

Week 1 (Bullocky’s Rest):

  • 5-7 km trail run at beginner’s pace

  • How to navigate using apps

  • Trail gear essentials

Week 2 (Chermside Hills Reserve):

  • 6-8 km trail run at beginner’s pace

  • Mastering hills

  • Trail safety tips

  • Prepping for your first trail race

Prerequisites:

  • You should be comfortable running a consistent 5 km (no trail shoes needed!)

  • Bring a small water bottle for those warm mornings along with a hat and sunscreen.

  • Mosquito repellent if you are prone to the blood suckers.
